Match Report - Women’s League Round 1

Just wanted to thank everyone who have supported the ladies in our training over the last few months and especially all those that came to watch us on a very wet and cold 14th January morning. Thank you!!

We won one match with a goal from Vicky (hooray) and lost 2 (boo ). Thanks to Gemma for stepping in at the last minute and congratulations to Ali who made a stellar debut performance

We could have played better in the first match but we found our feet as the games progressed and our performance improved. The competition is tough and we have still got a lot to learn...but our strength is that we are ready, committed and hungry to take this on.

Very very proud of the lionesses and our journey together so far. Let's get ready for the next one..
